How to Find Us

Blackness Veterinary Surgery is in the Blackness industrial are between the Hawkhill and the Lochee Rd. We have short stay parking right in front of the surgery main entrance and also 3 dedicated car parking spaces on Walton St  just at the back of the surgery opposite Whittet's garage . We are within walking distance of the town centre and on several bus routes (Strathtay No.5,   Dundee buses No. 22, click for timetable)

BY CAR

• From the North:

Leave the Kingsway at the Camperdown roundabout and follow the Lochee Rd towards the city centre. After passing *** turn right at the second set of traffic lights into Polepark Rd (signposted Blackness Veterinary Surgery). This becomes Brook St and we are on the right opposite Beiderbecks Bistro/Bar

• From the West:

Enter Dundee along Riverside Drive from the Swallow Hotel Roundabout. Follow the river until you reach Discovery Point with its ship on your right and the railway station on your left. Turn left at the roundabout with traffic lights and follow the road round. Continue straight in at the traffic lights between Bank of Scotland and the Overgate Shopping Centre. At the Marketgait roundabout take first exit and at the Westport roundabout turn right into Horse Water Wynd which become Brook St. It is signposted for Blackness Veterinary Surgery. We are on the Left opposite Beiderbecks Bistro/Bar

• From the East and South.

Follow Dock St along the river or come off the Tay Bridge towards Dundee until you reach the roundabout with the Hilton Hotel and Olympia. Take the second exit towards the town. Go up to traffic lights between Bank of Scotland and the Overgate Shopping Centre. At the Marketgait roundabout take first exit and at the Westport roundabout turn right into Horse Water Wynd which become Brook St. It is signposted for Blackness Veterinary Surgery. We are on the Left opposite Beiderbecks Bistro/Bar
